No. NetSpect signs you in automatically the first time you open it. There's no email, password, or social login. You just choose a display name.
Groups are private and invite-only. Ask someone already in the group for their invite code, then open the Group tab, tap Press to Start, choose Join Group, and enter the code.
Group tab → Press to Start → Create Group. Once it exists, tap your group's picture at the top of the screen to find your invite code and share it.
On the Group tab, pick a court and press the big button. Everyone in your group gets a notification. To schedule one for later instead, use the Time bubble or the Calendar button before pressing it.
The Home tab lists your group's upcoming games with a live count of who has joined each one. Tap a game to join or drop out.
Tap your own game on the activity timeline, or use the Cancel option on its card on the Home tab. Anyone who had joined is notified that it's off.
Check-in works by watching for a small boundary around your court. That has to work when the app isn't open — otherwise you'd have to remember to open NetSpect at the exact moment you arrive. We do not track your movements; your phone only tells the app when you cross that specific boundary.
Location is requested the first time you check in to a match, never at launch, and always after a screen explaining why.
GPS is accurate to roughly 20–50 feet and can be worse near tall buildings or heavy tree cover. If your credit wasn't returned after a match you attended, email us within 7 days with the date and court and we'll look into it.
Yes, in iOS Settings at any time. Check-in won't work while it's off, which means a credit reserved for a match won't be returned to you.
Tap that person's profile picture — in group chat or on the roster — to open their profile. Report and Block are at the bottom of that panel. Blocking hides their messages from you immediately.
Profile tab → gear icon → Blocked Members, then tap Unblock.
Reports come to us directly and we review them. If you're reporting something urgent, email pointxcross@gmail.com as well so we see it faster.
Tap your group's picture at the top of the Group tab, then Leave Group at the bottom of the panel. You'll need an invite code to rejoin.
Profile tab → gear icon → Delete Account. This is permanent and immediate: your profile, group membership, credit history, and attendance records are deleted, and the account cannot be recovered.
Messages you already sent stay visible to your group under the name you used at the time — we don't rewrite a conversation other people were part of. See the Privacy Policy for detail.
Profile tab → gear icon → Notification Settings, which opens NetSpect's page in iOS Settings.
NetSpect requires an iPhone running iOS 17.6 or later. It's designed for portrait orientation and is not currently available as an iPad or Apple Watch app.
